Accounting Assistant

We are a U.S.-based real estate and property management company seeking a reliable and organized Virtual Accounting Assistant for a long-term part-time remote position. The role involves supporting our daily accounting operations and helping keep financial records accurate and up to date.

Responsibilities
- Enter vendor bills and invoices accurately into DoorLoop and QuickBooks Online
- Categorize bank and credit card transactions correctly
- Match receipts and supporting documents to transactions
- Track outstanding invoices and maintain organized vendor records
- Prepare and organize financial reports and supporting documents for management and CPA review
- Maintain organized digital files for invoices, receipts, and accounting records
- Assist with administrative support tasks such as tenant file management, vendor tracking, and data entry during slower periods
- Support other bookkeeping and accounting tasks as needed

Qualifications
-Experience using both DoorLoop and QuickBooks Online
-Minimum of 2 years experience in US accounting, bookkeeping, or accounts payable
-Strong Microsoft Excel skills for tracking and organizing financial data
-Comfortable following structured accounting processes and coordinating with a CPA
-Highly detail-oriented and careful with financial records
-Reliable, organized, communicative, and able to work independently
