As we expand our operations, we're looking for a highly skilled and motivated Accountant - CFO Assistant to join our team. This is a critical role where you will manage the financial health of our business, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in all accounting functions.

Responsibilities
Financial Reporting: Prepare and manage Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow statements, and Budget forecasts.
Transaction Reconciliation: Reconcile all transactions, including credit card and bank transactions, to ensure accuracy.
Payroll Management: Oversee payroll processing through Gusto and manage employees Benefits.
Accounts Receivable: Analyze payments and ensure timely collection of receivables.( We have 1 payment from the marketplace every 2 weeks)
Accounts Payable: Collect invoices, reconcile payments with vendors, and manage vendor credits.
Inventory Reporting: Manage and report on inventory levels, working closely with the logistics department to ensure accurate landed costs per SKU.
Custom Reporting: Customize and generate daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly financial reports as needed.
Tax Management: Set up and manage sales and purchase taxes, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and maintain financial forecasts and budgets, providing insights for strategic planning.
Research: Conduct research on credit cards and financial benefits to optimize company spending.

Requirements
Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification preferred.
Financial Reporting: Strong experience in preparing and managing financial reports.
Technical Expertise: Proficiency in accounting software and tools, such as QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems.
Reconciliation: Proven experience in transaction reconciliation, including credit card and bank statements.
Payroll Management: Experience managing payroll and employee benefits.
Accounts Management: Strong skills in managing accounts receivable and payable processes.
Inventory Management: Experience with inventory accounting and cost management.
Taxation: In-depth knowledge of sales and purchase tax regulations.
Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze financial data.
Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to collaborate with various departments and present financial insights.
Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.

Preferred but Not Required:
eCommerce Experience: Familiarity with accounting practices in the eCommerce sector, especially with Amazon.
Research Skills: Proficiency in researching financial products and services, such as credit cards and benefits, to enhance company financial strategies.
