Work Set-up: Work-from-home
Work Schedule: Partial overlap with U.S. Mountain Standard Time required. Preferred availability is approximately 6:00 AM–1:00 PM MST for collaboration and communication. Flexibility for occasional extended U.S. hours during urgent closing periods is required.

Position Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Accountant / Senior Bookkeeper to support a multi-location medical aesthetics and wellness business. This role requires strong expertise in accrual accounting, month-end close processes, payroll coordination, multi-location accounting, and financial systems management. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly communicative, capable of working independently in a remote environment, and comfortable collaborating with U.S.-based leadership teams.


Key Responsibilities
Manage monthly and semi-monthly book closing processes for multiple business locations.
Handle payroll coordination using Gusto and When I Work, ensuring accurate reconciliation with QuickBooks Online.
Categorize and reconcile expenses through ---------- and QuickBooks Online.
Process and manage sales tax and Colorado tax-related accounting requirements.
Maintain accrual-based accounting records, including depreciation, prepaids, rent, and other standard accounting adjustments.
Collaborate with leadership and fractional CFO on accounting operations and reporting.
Ensure timely communication and responsiveness through Slack during overlapping U.S. business hours.

Qualifications & Skills
Strong accounting/bookkeeping experience in accrual-based accounting environments.
Experience handling multi-location businesses is preferred
Experience with QuickBooks Online is required.
Experience with Zenoti is highly preferred.
Experience with Gusto, ---------- , and When I Work is preferred.
Background in businesses involving both services and cost-of-goods accounting (e.g., retail, construction, wellness, medical aesthetics, etc.).
Excellent English communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
