JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented part-time bookkeeper based in the Philippines to help manage bookkeeping, financial organization, and compliance support for our growing U.S.-based companies.
This role is ideal for someone who is organized, trustworthy, proactive, and experienced with U.S. small business bookkeeping.
Position: Part-Time Bookkeeper
Location: Remote / Work from Home
Schedule: Part-time, flexible hours
Timezone: Must be available for occasional meetings during U.S. Pacific Time business hours
Start Date: As soon as possible
Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate books for multiple small businesses
Categorize transactions and reconcile bank/credit card accounts
Track income, expenses, deposits, vendor payments, and owner draws
Assist with monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements
Help prepare books for tax filing and CPA review
Monitor financial records to help keep the companies compliant
Organize receipts, invoices, and supporting documents
Identify bookkeeping errors, duplicate transactions, or missing information
Communicate clearly when something needs attention
Help improve bookkeeping systems and internal financial organization
Requirements:
Prior bookkeeping experience required
Experience with QuickBooks Online preferred
Experience working with U.S.-based businesses is a strong plus
Strong attention to detail
Comfortable handling confidential financial information
Good written English communication skills
Reliable internet connection and computer
Ability to work independently and ask questions when needed
Organized, consistent, and deadline-conscious
Nice to Have:
Experience with service-based businesses
Experience with construction, cabinetry, design, hospitality, or short-term rental businesses
Familiarity with U.S. tax preparation support
Experience creating clean monthly reports for business owners
