Job Summary:
The Account Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strong, long-lasting client relationships and serving as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts. This role requires a strategic thinker who can oversee the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns, ensure client satisfaction, and identify growth opportunities. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, highly organized, and has a solid understanding of digital marketing strategies and tactics.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Relationship Management:

- Serve as the primary liaison between the agency and assigned clients.

- Foster and maintain strong, trusting relationships with clients by understanding their business needs and objectives.

- Regularly communicate campaign updates, performance metrics, and project progress.

2. Strategic Planning and Execution:

- Collaborate with clients to develop strategic marketing plans that align with their goals.

- Work closely with internal teams (creative, SEO, PPC, social media, content) to ensure successful execution of campaigns.

- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure campaigns are delivered on time and within scope.

3. Performance Analysis and Reporting:

- Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics to ensure objectives are being met.

- Provide detailed, actionable insights and recommendations based on campaign performance data.

- Prepare and deliver regular performance reports to clients.

4. Business Development and Upselling:

- Identify opportunities to grow client accounts by recommending additional services or strategies.

- Collaborate with the sales team to onboard new clients and ensure a seamless transition.

- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to provide innovative solutions to clients.

5. Internal Collaboration and Leadership:

- Act as a bridge between clients and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment.

- Advocate for client needs while balancing agency priorities.

- Mentor junior team members and contribute to the agency’s culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

- Demonstrated fluency in North American English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Experience in account management, preferably within a digital marketing agency.

- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including SEO, PPC, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.

- Proven ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.

- Proficiency in using digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, SEMrush, etc.).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Monday.com) is a plus.
