About Importivity
Importivity helps U.S. companies source, manufacture, and import products from factories around the world. We work across product sourcing, factory vetting, quality control, logistics, supply chain coordination, and international manufacturing projects.
We are looking for a highly organized Account Manager who can own client communication, understand each project in detail, and coordinate between our sales, operations, sourcing, technology, and fulfillment teams.
About the role
This role is perfect for someone who is an excellent communicator, detail-oriented, comfortable with international business, and experienced in managing remote teams across multiple departments.
You will be the main communication bridge between clients and our internal team. You will need to understand each client’s product, timeline, expectations, deliverables, and next steps so nothing gets missed.
Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day communication with clients through
Understand each client project in detail, including product requirements, supplier status, timelines, pricing, samples, production updates, QC, and logistics.
Coordinate with internal departments, including sales, operations, sourcing, technology, and leadership.
Lead or support client video calls with professionalism and confidence.
Keep clients updated clearly and consistently so they always know what is happening with their project.
Track project milestones, follow-ups, deadlines, and blockers.
Work with remote tea
Use CRM and/or ERP systems to keep client and project information organized.
Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and/or Grok to improve communication, summarize updates, organize project details, and increase efficiency.
Help identify problems before they become bigger issues.
Make sure internal teams have the information they need to move projects forward.
Requirements
Superb written and spoken English.
Must be available during U.S. business hours.
Experience in account management, client success, project management, operations, or a similar role.
Strong understanding of international business, global trade, manufacturing, importing, sourcing, or supply chain.
Comfortable taking video calls with clients.
Experience managing remote teams and coordinating across multiple departments.
Experience working with sales, operations, and technology teams.
Experience using CRM and/or ERP systems.
Experience using LLMs such as ChatGPT, Claude, and/or Grok.
Highly organized and detail-oriented.
Able to manage multiple client projects at once.
Strong follow-up skills.
Professional, proactive, and calm under pressure.
Nice to have
Experience in product sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, imports/exports, Alibaba, factory communication, or quality control.
Experience working with U.S. clients while coordinating with overseas teams.
Experience with Zoho, HubSpot, ClickUp, Monday, Asana, Slack, Google Workspace, or similar tools.
