JOB OVERVIEW

For a US college student client with a packed schedule looking for a sharp, organized academic support assistant / tutor to help stay on top of my coursework and cut time spent on low-leverage tasks.

ACADEMIC INTEGRITY — READ THIS
This role must fully comply with academic integrity policies. You will
• Write or submit assignments on behalf
• Post in discussion boards
• Submit anything to the LMS

Additionally:
• Planning, reminders, accountability, and organization
• Reading summaries and study guides
• Flashcards, practice quizzes, and review sheets
• Outlining and brainstorming ideas for my papers
• Giving feedback on my drafts (clarity, structure, grammar, citations)
• Formatting citations (APA/MLA/Chicago) and building reference lists
• Distilling lecture notes and readings into "what matters" summaries
• Building weekly checklists and keeping me on schedule

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Read syllabi + weekly modules and build a clear weekly plan
• Create daily/weekly to-do lists and hold me accountable
• Summarize readings into concise 1–2 page study guides
• Create flashcards and practice questions from readings/lectures
• Help prep for quizzes and exams
• Review and edit my drafts — grammar, flow, argument, citations
• Maintain a running tracker of deadlines, point values, and requirements
• Communicate clearly and quickly (short messages, clear action items)

TOOLS
• Google Docs / Notion
• AI Tools (provided)

REQUIREMENTS
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Strong organization and follow-through
• Experience tutoring or supporting college-level coursework
• Ability to break down complex readings into clear, digestible study materials
• Comfortable giving direct, honest feedback on my writing
• Reliable internet and fast responsiveness

SCHEDULE
• 10–20 hours/week (more during midterms and finals)
• Need at least 1–2 hours/day overlap with US Pacific Time

PAY
• $6–$10/hour depending on English/writing quality and speed
• Hours can increase during heavy academic periods
