JOB OVERVIEW

Academic Support and Learning Program

Paid Nonprofit Learning Initiative

Our church nonprofit is building a long term academic learning and program testing initiative for individuals who may later support nonprofit education, tutoring, guidance, and community based programs.

This is a paid remote learning program for applicants who enjoy studying, learning, writing, research, academic support work, and structured online learning.

This opportunity is for paid learning participants who want to grow in a school like learning environment while helping us test and develop academic programs for future nonprofit use.

Please Read Before Applying

Please read this full post carefully before applying.

We are busy church and nonprofit workers, so we are looking for applicants who can follow written instructions without asking many questions that are already answered in this post.

Please read the post more than once before applying. Do not apply if you are going to ask questions that are already answered here.

This is not a high paying opportunity. This is a paid learning and program testing initiative for people who genuinely enjoy studying, writing, research, and learning new things.

Please do not apply if:

• You do not read instructions carefully
• You cannot follow directions
• You are not qualified
• You are not familiar with Canvas or similar online learning platforms
• You are not familiar with Turnitin or originality review systems
• You are not comfortable with the honorarium budget
• You are not interested in learning or studying
• You are not willing to work in a structured academic environment
• You cannot communicate clearly and respectfully
• You cannot provide daily progress updates
• You cannot submit quality academic work
• You do not have reliable access to a computer and internet

This opportunity is best for someone who loves to study, enjoys learning new things, communicates well, writes clearly, and may later become a strong academic support person for nonprofit related programs.

Purpose of the Program

This nonprofit initiative helps us test, evaluate, and improve academic learning programs before they are used more broadly.

Participants will:

• Study assigned learning materials
• Complete structured academic modules
• Produce original written work and presentations
• Help evaluate program quality, clarity, difficulty, and structure
• Provide consistent progress updates
• Demonstrate reliability, discipline, and quality academic effort
• Work independently in a self paced online learning environment

This is a program testing and learning participant role.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Must provide Transcript of Records or official school transcript
• Must have strong reading, writing, research, and study skills
• Must be very studious and able to learn independently
• Must be comfortable with self paced online learning
• Must be familiar with Canvas or similar online learning platforms

Who Should Apply

This opportunity is best for:

• College graduates with strong academic habits

• Straight A students or applicants with strong study discipline
• People who love to learn and study

• People interested in tutoring, academic support, nonprofit work, or program testing
• People who can work independently without constant supervision
• People who are reliable, respectful, and serious about finishing what they start
• People who are available, responsive, and comfortable working online

Character and Reliability Required

Before anything else, character and reliability come first.

We carefully evaluate character during the first sessions. Many people may be intelligent or academically capable, but if we do not see reliability, respect, honesty, quality work, and strong work ethic early on, we will not be able to continue with that applicant.

We are looking for people who:

• Follow through on commitments
• Communicate respectfully
• Provide consistent progress updates
• Complete assignments they start
• Take responsibility seriously
• Stay responsive and professional
• Show honesty, discipline, and good character
• Take pride in producing clean and quality work
• Have strong study habits and academic discipline
• Learn well independently
• Care about details and accuracy

If an applicant stops responding, disappears, abandons work midway, submits careless work, or fails to communicate, the program will end for that applicant.

Our nonprofit depends on people who finish the work they start and care about the quality of what they submit.
