API Integration Engineer – CRM/ATS Systems (Company Confidential)

About the Role
A confidential technology company specializing in automated online data extraction is seeking a highly experienced API Integration Engineer. Our platform gathers, structures, and enriches online data — but currently does not push this data into client CRMs/ATS systems.

We are now ready to build these integrations for the first time.
That means you will own the full buildout of connecting our platform to CRM and ATS systems from scratch.

We need someone with deep experience designing, architecting, and implementing custom API integrations into platforms like Salesforce, HubSpot, Bullhorn, Greenhouse, Lever, Zoho, and others. This role is not just development — it requires ownership of scoping, architecture, cost planning, timeline mapping, and execution.

Responsibilities

Architect and build the first version of our CRM/ATS integration framework.

Evaluate our platform’s API and design a scalable, modular integration layer.

Create detailed technical scopes, timelines, and cost estimates for each new CRM/ATS integration.

Build custom integrations into systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Bullhorn, Greenhouse, Lever, Zoho, and others.

Own the full lifecycle of integrations:

Requirements gathering

Architecture

Authentication setup

Data mapping

Development

QA/testing

Deployment

Work closely with client teams during onboarding to finalize integration requirements.

Document integration workflows, data models, and repeatable processes for future systems.

Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize integrations as the system scales.

Requirements

Senior-level experience building CRM/ATS integrations from scratch — not just maintaining existing ones.

Deep hands-on expertise with:

Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP, Webhooks, OAuth)

HubSpot API (CRM objects, pipelines, authentication)

Major ATS systems (Bullhorn, Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, BambooHR, Zoho Recruit, etc.)

Strong mastery of REST APIs, OAuth2, token refresh workflows, webhooks, and secure data transfer.

Experience designing integration architecture for proprietary or custom software platforms.

Ability to estimate integration cost, timeline, and complexity before development begins.

Strong data mapping experience (objects ? fields ? workflows).

Exceptional written and spoken English.

Ability to work independently and own a buildout from zero to production.

Nice to Have

Experience building integration frameworks for SaaS companies.

Background with ETL, data syncing, or workflow automation tools (Zapier, Make, Workato).

Understanding of rate limits, high-volume data syncing, batching, and retry logic.

Experience working with U.S.-based teams or clients.
