# AI Video Ad Editor — Meta & YouTube Ads (Remote)
## About the Role
We're looking for a skilled AI Video Ad Editor to produce high-performing video ad creatives for Meta
This is a full time role, fully remote - preference though is in Cavite, as we are thinking of opening an office there to save you commute into Manila. You'll be working directly with the founder and a small, fast-moving team that manages significant monthly ad spend and ships creative at pace.
You won't be shooting footage. You'll be assembling, editing, and producing scroll-stopping video ads using a combination of AI video tools, stock footage, screen recordings, motion graphics, and supplied brand assets — then iterating based on performance data.
## What You'll Be Doing
- Producing 2-5 short-form video ads per day (15s–90s) optimised for Meta and YouTube placements
- Working from creative briefs, scripts, and storyboards to assemble polished ad creatives
- Using AI video generation tools (Runway, Pika, Kling, HeyGen, Synthesia, Seedance, or similar) to produce b-roll, talking-head variants, and motion sequences
- Editing in CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent — whatever gets the job done fast and clean
- Adding captions, kinetic text, transitions, branded overlays, and CTAs that follow direct-response best practices
- Creating multiple hooks, angles, and format variants from a single script to enable rapid testing
- Adapting creatives across aspect ratios (9:16, 1:1, 16:9) for Stories, Reels, Feed, Shorts, and in-stream placements
- Incorporating performance feedback — when we tell you Hook 2 is winning and the mid-section drops off, you know what to do with that information
- Maintaining brand consistency across output while keeping the creative fresh and platform-native
## What We're Looking For
- Demonstrable experience editing direct-response video ads for Meta and/or YouTube (not brand/awareness — we need ads that convert)
- Fluency with at least two AI video generation tools and a willingness to stay current as the tooling evolves rapidly
- A strong eye for pacing, visual hierarchy, and the rhythm of ads that hold attention in a feed environment
- Understanding of direct-response principles: pattern interrupts, hook structures, benefit stacking, urgency, social proof integration
- Ability to work from a script and creative brief without needing hand-holding on every cut
- Fast turnaround — this is a performance marketing environment, not a production studio
- Clean file management and organised delivery of assets (named correctly, layered where needed, final exports in specified formats)
- Reliable communication and availability during UK business hours (GMT/BST), even if based in a different timezone
## Bonus Points
- Experience in financial services, lending, insurance, or regulated industry advertising
- Familiarity with UGC-style ad formats and how to produce them without live talent
- Experience with AI voiceover tools (ElevenLabs, Play.ht, or similar)
- Basic motion graphics capability (lower thirds, animated stats, simple explainer sequences)
- Understanding of ad fatigue cycles and how to extend creative lifespan through iteration
## How to Apply
Send the following:
1. A short Loom or video introduction (under 2 minutes) — who you are, what tools you use, and why you're a good fit
2. Three examples of video ads you've edited that ran on Meta or YouTube (links or files — specify which tools/AI you used on each)
3. Your typical turnaround time for a single 30–60s ad creative from brief to final export
