We are a growing stainless-steel distribution business. AI is moving fast, and we want to use it properly across the company. Our senior leaders know the value but do not have the time to stay across tools, changes, and implementation. This role fills that gap.

This is a **hands-on, technically minded business role**. It is **not** a hardcore coding or software development role.

### What this role is responsible for

* Deeply understanding how our business operates day to day
* Staying current with AI tools, platforms, and best practices
* Identifying where AI can improve speed, accuracy, and consistency
* Designing and implementing AI-supported workflows (prompts, automations, SOPs, templates)
* Translating AI capability into practical use for non-technical staff
* Working closely with senior leaders to continuously optimise operations

### What success looks like (6–12 months)

* AI is embedded into core business workflows, not used randomly
* Clear, documented systems that combine people, process, and AI
* Measurable time savings across admin, sales, and operations
* You are proactively recommending and rolling out improvements

### This role is suited for someone who:

* Strongly understands modern AI tools and how they are evolving
* Thinks in systems and workflows, not just tools
* Is practical, structured, and execution-focused
* Communicates clearly with non-technical people

### This role is **not** for someone who:

* Only wants to research or experiment without implementation
* Is focused on pure coding or software engineering
