AI-Native Full-Stack Product Engineer

We are a bootstrapped early stage U.S. startup looking for a full-time full-stack product engineer who can build product features end-to-end with strong product judgment.

This role is not just for someone who waits for detailed tickets. We need someone who can understand a business goal, design a practical user-flow, architect the infrastructure, and ship working software quickly.

You should be comfortable using modern AI coding tools such as Cursor. We care about output, judgment, communication, and reliability more than credentials.

You will work directly with the founder on internal tools, customer-facing product features, automation workflows, dashboards, data pipelines, and AI-assisted software projects.

You may be a good fit if you:
* Have built and shipped full-stack web applications
* Can work independently from a product goal, not just a perfect spec
* Have strong written English communication
* Can explain your technical and product decisions clearly
* Are comfortable building prototypes quickly and improving them over time
* Use AI coding tools effectively, but still understand the code you ship
* Can overlap at least a few hours with U.S. Eastern Time
* Are interested in a long-term full-time role

Before hiring, finalists will complete a paid work sample.

The work sample is a standalone prototype project, separate from our current codebase. It is timeboxed to 8–10 hours and will be paid based on your listed hourly rate. After submission, we will schedule a walkthrough where you explain what you built, your architecture, tradeoffs, and what you would build next.
