JOB OVERVIEW

# AI-First Full-Stack Developer (Next.js) — Moredemand (Remote)

## About Moredemand

Moredemand is an AI-powered SaaS platform for paid advertising analytics, funnel building, and demand generation. We serve agency owners and in-house performance marketers who need to connect ad spend to revenue outcomes without the guesswork.

The platform is in active build across multiple workstreams — ad account analytics, CRM and lead management, page and funnel builder, conversion mapping, and an AI assistant layer (MODA) that ties it all together. This is a ground-floor opportunity to shape a product that sits at the intersection of advertising data, automation, and applied AI.

## The Role

We're hiring a full-stack developer whose default mode is building with AI — not just using it as a novelty feature, but treating it as core infrastructure. You'll be working across the Moredemand platform in Next.js, shipping features end-to-end from spec to production.

This is a hands-on building role. You'll receive detailed specs and PRDs with user stories, business logic, and acceptance criteria (written in Gherkin). You won't be guessing what to build — but you will need to make smart technical decisions about how to build it, and move fast doing so.

You'll be working alongside an existing small dev team and reporting directly to the founder.

## What You'll Be Doing

- Building and shipping production features across the Moredemand platform in Next.js (App Router, Server Components, Server Actions)
- Integrating AI/LLM capabilities throughout the product — not bolted-on chat widgets, but intelligent features woven into the user experience (triage, analysis, recommendations, natural language querying, content generation)
- Working with the Google Ads, Meta Ads, and analytics APIs to ingest, normalise, and surface advertising data
- Building CRM-style interfaces — database views, saved filters, inline actions, dynamic tables, drag-and-drop workflows
- Developing the page/funnel builder module with overlay and popup elements
- Implementing a consent management layer and data-triggered qualification rules
- Writing clean, testable code against Gherkin acceptance criteria provided in each spec
- Using Claude Code, Cursor, or equivalent AI-assisted development tooling as a core part of your workflow — not occasionally, but as standard practice
- Shipping iteratively with a bias toward working software over perfect abstractions

## What We're Looking For

- Strong production experience with Next.js 14+ (App Router, not Pages Router) — this is non-negotiable
- Proven ability to build with LLM APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI, or similar) — prompt engineering, structured outputs, tool use, streaming responses, RAG patterns
- Comfortable across the full stack: React/TypeScript on the front end, Node.js/serverless on the back end, PostgreSQL or equivalent relational database
- Experience integrating third-party APIs — particularly ad platforms, CRMs, or data-heavy SaaS integrations
- Ability to work from a detailed spec and translate user stories and business logic into shipped features without requiring architectural hand-holding
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, Windsurf, or similar) and the discipline to review and own what the tools produce
- Test-driven mindset — you understand Gherkin acceptance criteria and write code that satisfies them
- Clean component architecture, sensible state management, and an instinct for UI that feels fast and responsive
- Self-directed and reliable in a remote, async-first environment — you ship, you communicate, you don't disappear

## Tech Environment

- Next.js (App Router), React, TypeScript
- Tailwind CSS
- PostgreSQL
- Anthropic Claude API (primary LLM layer)
- Google Ads API, Meta Marketing API
- Vercel deployment
- Claude Code / AI-assisted development as standard workflow
- Spec-first methodology — block-based architecture, PRDs with Gherkin acceptance criteria, no code or DB schema in specs

## Bonus Points

- Experience building SaaS platforms for marketers or agencies
- Familiarity with advertising data models (campaigns, ad groups, keywords, conversion actions, attribution)
- Experience with real-time dashboards, charting libraries (Recharts, D3), or data visualisation
- Background in building form/page builders or drag-and-drop interfaces
- Understanding of FCA-regulated or compliance-sensitive product environments
- Contributions to open-source or a portfolio of shipped SaaS products

## How to Apply

Send the following:

1. A short Loom (under 3 minutes) walking through a Next.js project you built — show the code, explain the decisions, highlight any AI/LLM integration
2. A brief description of how you currently use AI tooling in your development workflow — what tools, how often, and what you trust them with vs. what you don't
3. One example of a feature you shipped from spec to production, and what the spec looked like vs. what you delivered
4. Your availability (hours per week or full-time) and rate (hourly, daily, or monthly)

No agencies. No CVs padded with frameworks you used once on a tutorial. Show the work.
