AI-Enabled Software Engineer (Automation & Production Systems)

We are seeking a highly skilled software engineer who leverages AI tools to join our e-commerce gifting brand team. This role focuses on designing, building, and optimizing systems that generate production-ready engraving files, while using AI to improve development speed, efficiency, and scalability across operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain systems that generate production-ready engraving files (LightBurn-ready vector files)
Develop automated workflows for transforming customer inputs into finalized output files
Utilize AI tools to accelerate development and streamline internal processes
Collaborate on the development and improvement of internal software systems
Integrate and manage multiple software platforms and tools

Requirements:
Strong software engineering background with ability to build real systems
Solid understanding of development processes and system architecture
Experience creating automated workflows and system integrations
Ability to use AI tools to enhance development, not replace it
High level of technical competency and problem-solving ability

Bonus:
Experience with vector file formats such as SVG or DXF
Familiarity with LightBurn or laser engraving workflows
Experience generating design or production files programmatically

Compensation:
$750–$1200/month (based on experience)
Full-time position
Sunday-Friday : 9 am - 6 pm EST with a one hour break
