Junior Developer - Technical assistant

Please read before applying: This role supports a US-based team and requires working overnight hours in the Philippines. Your shift will be approximately 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM Philippine Time (PHT), Tuesday through Saturday. This aligns with our US daytime business hours. Please only apply if you are comfortable with and fully available for this overnight schedule.

What You Will Do:
Search approved free image websites (Pexels, Unsplash, Pixabay, Wikimedia Commons, Flickr) for real interior photos of household objects
Review each image to make sure it meets quality, framing, and licensing requirements
Organize and rename image files into a structured folder system
Complete a tracking spreadsheet (CSV) documenting each image's source URL, license, file name, and object category
Start with a small test batch of ~90 images before moving to full volume
Meet daily or weekly image targets as agreed with the team

What We're Looking For:
Strong attention to detail — you will be reviewing images one by one and making quality judgments at volume
Comfortable navigating image search websites and filtering results by license type
Ability to follow detailed written instructions carefully and consistently
Basic Excel or Google Sheets skills
Good English reading comprehension
Reliable computer and internet connection
Experience with data entry, image sourcing, content moderation, or research is a plus but not required

Object Categories You Will Work With:
Beds, towels, baskets, remotes, toasters, chairs, couches, lamps, mirrors, refrigerators, sinks, toilets, rugs, curtains, plants, televisions, and more — all photographed inside real homes or short-term rental properties. 32 categories total.

Image Standards You Will Follow:
Real photographs only — no AI-generated, rendered, or 3D images
Free commercial-use sources only (Pexels, Unsplash, Pixabay, etc.)
No people or faces visible in photos
No watermarked images
Source URL and license must be recorded for every image — no exceptions
