AI Content Editor

We're looking for a sharp, detail-oriented editor to join our content team. This is a remote, freelance role that combines editorial judgement with a fast, AI-assisted workflow. You'll be responsible for generating, editing, and quality-checking articles using our in-house AI content tool, and over time, helping us train and manage a wider team of editors doing the same.

What you'll be doing
- Using our AI content generation tool to produce articles quickly and efficiently
- Editing and refining AI-generated drafts for tone, accuracy, relevancy, and readability
- Finding the best angle for each piece and making sure it delivers genuine value to the reader
- Checking all links are working and pointing to the right places
- Fact-checking claims, particularly on more technical or sensitive topics
- Taking ownership of the quality and relevancy of every article you produce
- Once settled in, helping to hire, onboard, and train additional editors to work within the same workflow

What we're looking for
- C1 level English or above (written fluency is essential)
- A good editorial eye: you know what makes a piece work and what doesn't
- Experience as a writer or editor is a strong advantage
- Comfortable working with digital tools and picking up new workflows quickly
- Reliable, self-directed, and able to maintain quality at pace
- An interest in moving into a team lead or training role

The workflow
- We use an AI content generation tool that handles the initial draft. Your job is to take that draft and turn it into a polished, publish-ready article.

Pay and Hours
- Payment is per project - based on the number of articles completed and approved.
- For context, potential earnings of £5 an hour based on 1 project taking 10 minutes (approx 6 projects an hour)
- Flexible hours from Monday to Friday, as long as the assigned work is completed at the assigned deadlines i.e day the work is allocated.
- Volume is consistent, so there's real earning potential for editors who work efficiently.
