Project Overview

We are a kitchen and joinery business seeking an experienced 3D kitchen designer to convert hand sketches and design notes into accurate, high-quality 3D models and photorealistic renders.

You will be working from:

Hand-drawn sketches

Dimensioned plans (where available)

Design intent notes, finishes, and appliance specifications

The output must be suitable for client presentations and approvals, with a strong focus on detail, proportions, and realism.

Scope of Work

Translate hand sketches into accurate 3D kitchen models

Model cabinetry, panels, benchtops, appliances, and joinery details

Apply realistic materials, textures, colours, and finishes

Produce high-quality rendered images (key angles)

Make reasonable revisions based on feedback

Maintain consistency with luxury residential design standards

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience in 3D kitchen design and joinery modelling

Advanced proficiency in SketchUp (or similar professional software)

Strong understanding of kitchen layouts, cabinetry construction, and detailing

Experience producing photorealistic renders for client-facing use

High attention to detail, scale, and accuracy

Ability to interpret hand sketches and design intent independently

Deliverables

3D model file (SketchUp or agreed format)

High-resolution rendered images suitable for client presentations

Optional: scenes or views set up for future revisions (preferred)
