3D CAD Designer

We are a US-based company located in Penn Valley, PA, dedicated to creating innovative sensory solutions that enhance environments for our clients. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented 3D CAD Designer to join our Sensory Room Design (SRD) team in a full-time, remote role.

The goal of the SRD team is to successfully close large sales that involve sensory rooms. They focus on designing a room specific to the client’s needs with great attention to detail. The 3D CAD Designer creates 3D models of interior spaces from images and floor plans as well as building sensory equipment sold by the company to be put into the room model. Models will need to be in true-to-life color and rendered in high resolution.


What We’re Looking For:

Full-Time Availability: Minimum of 5 working hours per day (Monday to Friday) and at least 3 hours on Sunday
Work Schedule: Must be able to work within US Eastern Time (EST) or UK working hours
Paid Training provided


Responsibilities and Process:

1. Create accurate 3D models of interior spaces from images and floor plans built in a NERBS format.
2. Understanding floor plans/blueprints and noticing if there are any inaccuracies.
3. Building sensory equipment sold by the company to be put into the room model using a NERBS based software.
4. Render Room models using Keyshot (provided by the company) and providing good quality final images
5. Meet deadlines
6. Make corrections and changes as needed
7. Be flexible and accept critique willingly
8. Pay attention to detail
9. Accept projects from other departments such as graphics or product development.


Qualifications/ Required Skills:

1. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
2. Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively
3. Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
4. Ability to create 3D CAD designs to scale using a NERBS based software.
