Multi-skilled Educator and Student Success Manager

I have tutored a number of students ages 3-17. I meet them on their current level and adjust to their needs accordingly. I do not have a set standard for the way students behave because I believe that each child has different ways of learning. I prepare lesson materials based on the interests of every child. If they progress fast, then we go to the next lesson right away. If they are having a hard time, then we stay on the subject until they are ready and confident to go to the next subject matter. I work with parents closely and acknowledge their demands for their kids. However, I do explain to the parents or report to them should the student need to stay longer on the course. I believe that learning should be fun. Engaging the student and making them comfortable in learning would help them embrace the joy of education and further develop a love for studying.

My love and interest for health and wellness have helped individuals across the country lose weight, gain muscle, and build healthy habits by sharing nutrition information, provide learning materials, and accessible communication as they journey to a better and fit lifestyle. I interact with people and introduce them to coaches that could help them in their walk to a healthy and active lifestyle.

I have had a fair knowledge in helping kids and parents navigate their homeschooling journey. I have an experience on teaching kids online with their worksheets via Zoom. I also have a face-to-face experience in teaching children in a homeschool set up, one student being a child with visual disability. I also have experience in teaching students with ADHD, hence finding ways to match their energy and level of interest is a top priority.
