I’m Arnel Mercado, Graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports Science at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines – Mabini Campus. I was exposed to various sports, eventually focusing his athletic career on Arnis. Im is now a member and the current Team Captain of the PUP Varsity Arnis Team. I have a strong interest in different sports, particularly in understanding how human movement responds to specific skills in strength training. My ultimate goal is to become a Strength and Conditioning Coach, guiding athletes in enhancing and refining their athletic performance. This aspiration aligns with his co-authored research, which analyzed the effects of running shoes on the athletic performance of track athletes. Recently I handled PBA athletes and UAAP athletes as an assistant strength and conditioning coach on TRANCENDS PERFORMANCE. Additionally had Level 1 Certification on Strength and Conditioning from International Universities of Strength and Conditioning Association.
