In my role as a Accounting Assistant at Natwide Distribution INc., I gained comprehensive experience in managing the accounts payable (AP) function, which involved overseeing and ensuring the smooth processing of all vendor invoices and payments. My primary responsibility was to maintain accurate financial records and ensure that payments were made in a timely and efficient manner, while adhering to company policies and compliance standards.

My experience in a bank allowed me to develop a deep understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements. My role required attention to detail and a strong grasp of financial principles, which I have honed over time. I am confident in my ability to perform the bookkeeping role effectively I was responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and preparing financial statements.

During my time at Philippine National Bank, I gained extensive experience in performing bank reconciliations, a crucial task for ensuring the accuracy of the company’s financial records. I was responsible for reconciling the company's bank statements with the internal financial records to ensure that both sets of data aligned. This process was vital for maintaining accurate cash flow reports and ensuring that all transactions were accounted for.

During my internship, I gained hands-on experience with Xero, a leading accounting software. I managed bookkeeping tasks, such as recording financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and generating financial reports. I also leveraged Xero’s features to streamline processes and improve accuracy in financial record-keeping. My familiarity with Xero has equipped me with the skills necessary to manage accounting functions efficiently and effectively.
