I have more than 10 years experience in video editing. For the first half of those years, I tested different video editing software from mobile to desktop. I know basic video editing and some advanced video editing. For the remaining half of those years, I started showcasing my video editing skills on social media by posting my work regularly. I have run three successful video editing accounts for the past FIVE years on both Instagram and TikTok.
For my work experience, I have done freelancing by making custom edits for my Instagram followers in 2021. I was chief video editor and social media manager for Coach Relief, a health products company. I was also a content manager for a company that promotes AI companion websites/apps, Paradoxa AI.
I specialize in short-form videos, especially the advertising, marketing, informing and storytelling sort for TikTok and Instagram. Throughout my education, I have done many trailers for plays and short films, short films and more for school work projects for which I have received multiple awards including best film editing, directing and short film. I can adapt to editing styles easily as long as I am provided instructions, samples to base on and that it is achievable with my skills.
I am currently using Adobe After Effects 2021 & 2023, Adobe Media Encoder 2021, Topaz Video Enhance AI and Audacity as my applications for editing videos, editing audios, rendering and video quality. I have basic experience with CapCut as well. I am currently using an Acer Nitro 5 Windows laptop for my work.
