eCommerce Graphic Designer

POSITION SUMMARY
Blue Wave is seeking an enthusiastic Graphic Designer to join our growing team to ensure that all creative and marketing projects get the consistency, resources, and attention they need to be successful. The ideal candidate should be creative and experienced in graphic design for the creation of digital assets such as images and videos for eCommerce applications. This position will design assets for products across Blue Wave’s four main product categories: Pool & Leisure, Gaming, Sauna, and Patio Furniture. This position will report directly to Blue Wave’s Head Graphic Designer, who has been with the Company for several years and is an expert in Graphic Design.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Leverage the following applications to create graphic designs: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, and Lightroom
• Imagine and create infographics of existing and new product images for eCommerce listings
• Follow customer guidelines around digital advertising across multiple eCommerce platforms in creating and updating product content and product listings
• Retouch product images taken by photographers in China to create digital assets
• Use a variety of mediums to achieve artistic or decorative effects and often select the type, font, size, color, and line length of headlines, headings, and text
• Collaborate and work closely with the marketing team
• Leverage or be willing to learn how to leverage generative AI for digital asset creation and optimization
• Work simultaneously on different projects

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Must work 8 am – 5 pm Central Standard Time (CST) Monday – Friday
• It is strongly preferred that the candidate have an Apple computer instead of Microsoft as the applications we use better apply to Apply, and our Head Graphic Designer uses Apple
• Must have an elite technology stack and internet connection
• Must have a camera, microphone, and desktop computer with mouse and keyboard
• Understand how to use Amazon and other eCommerce retailers’ portals to update and refresh eCommerce product listings
• Positive attitude and a team player with the ability to multitask
• Experience using Chat GPT and other generative AI applications is a plus, but not required
• Extensive experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Ability to adapt designs for multiple platforms (i.e. web, print, social media, etc.)
• Friendly, outgoing, and energetic with the ability to cope in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to prioritize project importance
• Excellent communication skills
• Impeccable attention to detail
