Verification Specialist

We are seeking a Verification Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in our loan application process by communicating with the borrowers, verifying references provided by our borrowers, and replying to borrowers emails and texts. Your responsibilities will include confirming the employment status of applicants through their work references and verifying the identity of two personal references, typically family or friends.

You’ll perform discreet, professional “cold calls” to assess and validate the information provided, ensuring our loan applications are backed by reliable data. The ideal candidate is comfortable on the phone, able to build rapport quickly, and can skillfully gather the necessary details from contacts.

The systems we use are:
- OpenPhone (VOIP System)
- Monday.com (CRM System)
- Gmail (Email Provider)
