We’re seeking a highly skilled and motivated Staff Technical Program Manager to join our team. Our Technical Program Managers are responsible for leading cross-functional programs to deliver high-quality, scalable products. Responsibilities:

- Leads extremely complex programs with no supervision on ambiguous, adaptive programs
- Demonstrates expert skills in getting things done through others. Influencing without authority.
- In partnership with the program leads, defines team governance and control on their programs or projects.
- Collaborates with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to negotiate trade-offs, balance technical and customer facing needs, and deliver crisp and clear communication to ensure alignment or escalation as needed.
- Proactively identifies and manages project risks, issues, and dependencies, and implements mitigation strategies.
- Drives continuous improvement in delivery, team collaboration, processes and methodologies to improve cross-functional team collaboration and deliver of customer value.
- Leads and mentors cross-functional peers and partners on the value and use of frameworks and methodologies.
- Recognized as an knowledgeable partner and go-to person by their portfolio stakeholders and team(s
- Leads and coaches others in all agile ceremonies without supervision
- Demonstrates and evangelizes Agile values and principles, coaching teams on Agile culture and techniques.
- Mentors and coaches team members on best practices to help grow the program management acumen
- Leads proactive identification and mitigation of issues and risks. Leverages experience to anticipate risks in advance of impacts.
- Stays current on industry trends and serves as an expert in product development practices, the software development lifecycle, and agile engineering practices. Is advocating, coaching, and mentoring.

Qualifications:

- BS/BA degree or higher or equivalent technical experience in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems (CIS), or Management Information Systems (MIS)
- 10+ of proven experience as a Technical Program Manager or similar role in a fast-paced software engineering environment. Start-up experience preferred.
- 10+ years of experience assembling and managing cross-functional schedules and risk plans in an agile environment (Scrum of Scrums experience a plus).
- 5+ years of experience with Jira and Confluence, including Jira and Confluence administration experience
- Technical fluency is expected; comfort understanding and discussing technology concepts, driving tradeoffs and new opportunities with engineering team members.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies and technical concepts.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Experience with experimentation tools and methodology a plus
- Preferred Certified Scrum Master, (CSM) and/or SAFe certification

Bonus Qualifications:

- Experience with Event Storming Process
- Experience with Event Based architecture
- Experience with SQL
- Domain-driven design knowledge
