Takeoff Specialist

Responsibilities of the job:
Review project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare detailed quantity takeoffs.
Develop accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
Analyze and interpret project blueprints and drawings.
Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure all aspects of the project are covered in the estimate.
Maintain and update cost databases and historical data for future reference.
Prepare and present bid proposals to clients and stakeholders.
Assist in the evaluation and selection of subcontractors and suppliers.
Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits as necessary.
Keep up-to-date with industry trends, pricing, and best practices.

Requirements:
Proficient in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar).
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and costs.
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
