Senior Web Developer

**Applicants must be able to work within +/- 4 hours of New York timezone**

- Senior web developers serve a critical function in the end-to-end development of large-scale custom websites.
- Manage your own day-to-day productivity by reviewing your assigned Jira tickets and proactively communicating to Project Managers regarding deadlines.
- Participate meaningfully in project planning/sprint planning sessions.
- Provide estimates for technical tasks, accounting for unknowns, uncertainties, and a complete view of task requirements.
- Craft frontend and backend code for Drupal, WordPress, and other open-source content management systems

Skills/qualifications:
- Open source CMS Platforms (Drupal and WordPress)
- Proficiency with creating content types, taxonomies, views, paragraphs, and other basic entities as well as custom modules.
- PHP (including current OOP versions, namespaces, traits, etc)
- mySQL and similar database products
- API integrations / data feeds, migrations, and transformations
- Build tools such as npm, gulp, and grunt
- Git branching and deployment workflows
- Twig templates
- HTML5
- Javascript
- SCSS/CSS
