We’re currently looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Order Processing & Purchasing Coordinator.
Job Overview: As the Order Processing & Purchasing Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of orders from processing to delivery. Your responsibilities will include managing the purchasing of fabrics and tracks, tracking order statuses, and maintaining communication with both customers and suppliers. You will also be responsible for addressing any potential delays and ensuring that all orders are processed efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
Order Processing:
Process customer orders, assign ETA dates, and update order statuses accordingly.
Purchasing Fabrics & Tracks:
Purchase cut lengths from fabric suppliers as well as stock fabrics, and place orders for tracks.
Chasing ETAs:
Follow up with fabric suppliers to obtain accurate ETA updates.
Reworks & Adjustments:
Process rework orders, update the rework tracker, and advise the Manager on orders that require manual buz pricing adjustments.
Workroom Coordination:
Action any
Zendesk Ticket Management:
Assign unassigned Zendesk tickets to the appropriate tea
Customer Communication:
Notify customers of any order delays (including fabric delays, cutting errors, shipping delays, etc.) and keep them informed throughout the process.
Supplier Queries:
Answer supplier queries or forward them to the appropriate tea
Backorder Notifications:
Inform customers of any fabric backorders and provide updated timelines.
Wholesale Customer Support:
Send order confirmation
Skills & Qualifications:
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize efficiently.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience with order processing or purchasing in a similar industry is preferred.
Familiarity with Zendesk or similar ticketing systems is an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
