We are looking for a skilled and experienced MSP System Administrator to join our team and manage our diverse range of systems.
Position Overview:
The MSP System Administrator will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of various systems, including Proxmox, Veeam, Debian, Cpanel, and VMware. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in system administration, a deep understanding of these platforms, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
Key Responsibilities:
System Management:
Install, configure, and maintain Proxmox, Veeam, Debian, Cpanel, and VMware systems.
Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability of infrastructure.
Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups to maintain system integrity and security.
Troubleshooting and Support:
Monitoring via Zabbix platform and creation of dashboards
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues promptly.
Provide technical support to clients and internal teams, addressing any system-related concerns.
Document issues, resolutions, and system changes to ensure a comprehensive knowledge base.
Security and Compliance:
Implement and maintain security best practices to protect systems from vulnerabilities and threats.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
Automation and Scripting:
Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline system administration tasks.
Utilize scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with other IT tea
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
Participate in on-call rotations to provide after-hours support as needed.
Working hours will be starting AU EST time which is GMT+11.
