Local SEO Expert, Citations Building

We are seeking a Local SEO Expert to join our team and help boost our online presence within specific geographical areas. As a Local SEO Expert, your primary responsibility will be to optimize our website and online profiles to improve visibility in local search results. You will work closely with our marketing team to develop and implement strategies aimed at increasing local traffic, engagement, and conversions.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct keyword research to identify local search terms relevant to our business.
2. Optimize website content, meta tags, and URLs for local keywords.
3. Manage and optimize local business listings on platforms such as Google My Business, Yelp, and Bing Places.
4. Implement schema markup to enhance local search visibility.
5. Monitor and respond to online reviews and maintain a positive online reputation.
6. Generate locally-focused content such as blog posts, articles, and landing pages.
7. Analyze website and local search performance using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
8. Stay updated on local search trends and algorithm changes to adjust strategies accordingly.
9. Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate local SEO efforts with broader marketing initiatives.
10. Provide regular reports on local SEO performance and make recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience in local SEO optimization.
2. Familiarity with local search ranking factors and best practices.
3. Proficiency in using SEO tools such as SEMrush, Moz, or Ahrefs.
4. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
5. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
6. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
7. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred but not required).
8. Certification in SEO or related field (preferred but not required).
