Home Health QA

-Responsible for HIS/OASIS reviews and assures compliance with timeframe and documentation requirements
-Reviews Physician orders and Plan of Care, makings sure they are completed accurately and compliant with Medicare, state and federal guidelines
-Communicate with clinicians as needed for corrections and to ensure documentation is compliant with Medicare, state and federal guidelines.

FUNCTIONAL/TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:

-Familiar with Medicare guidelines and Condition of participation
-Updated with Home Health and Hospice Standards
-Strong Knowledge of OASIS E(Outcome and Assessment Information Set)
-Proficiency in ICD-10 Coding
-Familiar with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality best practices
-Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
-Problem solving and critical thinking abilities
-Strong understanding of Home Health and Hospice documentation regulations
