3 or more years of experience as an Accountant (experience with AU company is a plus)
$10 - 13 (AUD) - depending on skills/experience

We are a dynamic digital marketing agency seeking a meticulous and experienced Accountant/Bookkeeper to join our team. Our ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong organizational skills, and have a keen eye for detail, especially with advanced proficiency in Xero accounting software.

Responsibilities:
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
Process and manage invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
Call clients to follow up on payments, etc.
Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial records.
Prepare and process payroll accurately and on time.
Assist with month-end and year-end financial reports.
Utilize Xero accounting software to maintain financial records and reconcile transactions.
Prepare and review Business Activity Statements
Prepare financial statements for ASIC lodgement, reporting
Process Superannuation using Xero
Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
Support audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
Handle general administrative tasks as needed.
Assist and report to the Operations Head.

Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Accountant/Bookkeeper or similar role.
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
Advanced proficiency with Xero accounting software (experience with other accounting software is a plus).
Proficiency in payment gateways like Stripe, Wise, and CRMs like GoHighLevel or similar platforms.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
