JOB OVERVIEW

Job Summary
Urban Road is seeking a dynamic and hands-on EDM Manager to lead our email, SMS, and MMS marketing efforts. This role is crucial in driving our customer engagement, loyalty, and revenue growth through strategic and innovative digital messaging. With a strong focus on Klaviyo, the EDM Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimising campaigns that resonate with our audience and contribute to the overall success of our brand.

Key Responsibilities
1. Campaign Strategy and Planning
Develop and Execute Campaigns: Lead the development and hands-on execution of comprehensive EDM strategies across email, SMS, and MMS channels, with a focus on utilising Klaviyo for optimising email flows.
Lead Capture and Database Growth: Own and execute the strategy for lead generation and database growth, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations while expanding our reach.
Content Personalization: Leverage Klaviyo’s segmentation and personalization features to craft highly targeted content that enhances customer engagement and drives revenue.
2. Performance Tracking and Optimization
Analytics and Reporting: Actively monitor and report on campaign performance using Klaviyo’s tools, focusing on metrics like open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates. Use insights to continuously improve campaign outcomes.
A/B Testing: Implement and manage A/B tests to refine content and optimise engagement, applying learnings to drive higher revenue.
3. Customer Relationship Management
Loyalty Campaigns: Develop, manage, and execute loyalty programs to reward repeat customers and build long-term relationships.
Repeat Purchases: Design and optimise email flows targeting repeat purchases, leveraging Klaviyo’s predictive analytics and insights.
Customer Engagement: Maintain strong customer relationships through relevant and timely communications, directly contributing to increased customer satisfaction and retention.
4. Compliance and Deliverability
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all campaigns comply with GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and other relevant regulations, staying informed on the latest data privacy laws.
Deliverability Management: Oversee campaign delivery, ensuring optimal sender reputation and mobile responsiveness.
5. Collaboration and Coordination
Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with content creators, designers, and data analysts to ensure campaigns are aligned with company goals and delivered effectively.
Vendor and Tool Management: Manage relationships with Klaviyo and other vendors, ensuring the effective use of tools and platforms.
6. Innovation and Continuous Improvement
Trend Monitoring: Stay ahead of industry trends and innovations in EDM marketing, particularly within the eCommerce sector, to keep our strategies cutting-edge.
Creative Development: Lead the development of interactive and engaging content, incorporating storytelling and multimedia elements to boost customer engagement.

Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in EDM or digital marketing, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience using Klaviyo in an eCommerce environment.
Skills: Advanced proficiency in Klaviyo, including segmentation, automation, and analytics. Strong analytical skills and a passion for hands-on execution and optimization of email flows.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
