JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Virtual Assistant to support our e-commerce operations, social media management, and newsletter scheduling. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth customer interactions, maintaining an engaging social media presence, and delivering consistent content to our newsletter subscribers.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Support:
- Monitor and respond to customer inquiries via the email inbox for our e-commerce website.
- Process basic customer requests such as updating shipping addresses and order details.
- Ensure prompt and professional communication with customers to resolve issues and provide information.

Social Media Engagement:
- Monitor and respond to messages and comments on Facebook and Instagram.
- Engage with followers, answer questions, and address concerns in a timely and friendly manner.

Content Management:
- Create and schedule Instagram posts, ensuring alignment with our brand’s voice and visual style.
- Manage the content calendar for social media, ensuring consistent and timely publishing.
- Collaborate with the team to develop creative ideas for posts and social media campaigns.
- Schedule a daily email, Monday through Friday, for our Substack newsletter.


Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant, Customer Service Representative, or in a similar role.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (Shopify) and basic order management.
- Proficiency in using social media platforms, particularly Facebook and Instagram.
- Experience with Canva for creating social media posts.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently.


Preferred Skills:
- Experience in e-commerce customer support.
- Experience with Substack or similar newsletter platforms.
