Accountant with Australian Business Accounting Experience

Due to a recent surge in new business ventures, we are seeking skilled professionals to join our team in the Philippines.

We're looking for an individual who can further enhance their professional expertise in accounting and business services, establishing a solid career foundation.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of proven experience in Australian business accounting
Proficiency in bookkeeping, accounting, BAS and IAS preparation, and GST
Qualification in Business, Commerce, and/or Accounting
Proficiency in Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks, and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
Strong commitment to professional and personal responsibility
Demonstrated leadership qualities and dedication to your role
Effective collaboration skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
Excellent time management and organizational competencies to meet deadlines
Strong work ethic
A positive "Can do" attitude

Primary Responsibilities:

Prepare financial accounts, tax returns, and working papers for various entities, including individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships, and self-managed superannuation funds
Complete and submit business activity statements on behalf of clients
Generate monthly financial reports
Engage with tax authorities as necessary
Address client inquiries and maintain client correspondence
Handle invoice and paperwork management
Maintain the client database
Support the forensic accounting and financial planning teams
Undertake additional ad hoc tasks as directed
Deliver excellent customer service over the phone

Working Hours: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, including a 1-hour lunch break
