Responsibilities:
• Month-to-Month Bookkeeping: Accurately record and reconcile financial transactions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll.
• Accounting Clean-Up: Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies or errors to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Spreadsheet Management: Maintain and update various spreadsheets for data analysis and reporting purposes.
• Organization and Communication: Coordinate with clients and tea
• Ad-Hoc Tasks: Respond to client requests for various tasks, such as assisting with signups and registrations, one-off marketing assignments, and providing descriptions, overviews, and other relevant information.
• Social Media and Content Creation: Contribute to our social media presence by creating and posting content, including blog overviews.
• Google My Business Management: Resolve any issues related to our Google My Business listing to optimize online visibility.
Qualifications:
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Ramp,
• Experience with using excel and some introductory formulas (Index Match, SUMIFS, etc)
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• If you have a CPA or CA designation, that'd be a massive plus
• Experience doing inventory accounting and / or cost accounting is a plus
