Virtual Assistant/Writer

My experience in article writing is not necessarily an experience that provide me income. I actually do article writing as part of my course requirement. From being a freshmen up to now (4th year), I'm exposed to various activities that is related to writing article and with that I am pretty confident that I can write catchy and compelling contents.

My journey in scriptwriting has been a fascinating exploration of storytelling through various platforms. One significant chapter was as the screenwriter for "The Breakthrough Stories," a documentary series for Breakthrough, the official student publication of Camarines Norte State College during the academic year 2021-2022. It was a fulfilling experience, as I wove narratives that not only informed but also resonated with our audience, shedding light on untold stories. In 2017, I dived into the world of Radio Broadcasting as a scriptwriter for the Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC). This experience was a whirlwind of creativity and precision, as I crafted scripts that needed to engage and inform through the spoken word. Even in smaller projects like the Agrikinig Radio program (a school project), scriptwriting allowed me to experiment with different formats and genres, honing my skills and deepening my love for storytelling.

My journey in social media management has been a diverse and enriching experience. As the Social Media Manager of the "Ughsaya" Facebook Page (March to September 2019), I delved into the world of engagement analytics, constantly seeking ways to boost our page's statistics. In July 2022, my role shifted to editing photos and using FB Meta Business Suite to schedule posts for "Qualithrift," amplifying the visual and strategic aspect of my expertise. Then, as the Social Media Manager for "Craftivating" from August to December 2022, I learned the art of customer interaction, responding to buyer queries and managing live selling schedules. Finally, my role as the Information Communication Officer for CNSC College of Arts and Science (S.Y. 2022-2023) allowed me to combine all these skills, monitoring essential social media posts and crafting captivating captions for publication materials. These experiences have honed my abilities and fueled my passion for the dynamic world of social media management.

Over the span of five years, from 2016 to 2021, I have developed my skill in video editing as a YouTube Content Creator on my channel, "Rachel Valenzuela”. This journey was an incredible ride through the realm of visual storytelling. With each video, I strived to push the boundaries of my editing skills, crafting content that not only resonated with my audience but also reflected my evolving creativity. In my channel, I first created videos such as parody, short film, prank, life and travel vlogs, up to creating content related to music like melodica cover and ukulele tutorials. My years as a YouTube Content Creator were a formative period, one that kindled a passion for visual storytelling and armed me with a skill set I continue to cherish and nurture.
