I am a Juris Doctor (JD) and an Accountant. I bring to the table a unique blend of expertise in both the legal and financial realms. With my Juris Doctor degree, I have honed my skills in law, equipped to navigate complex legal landscapes with precision and insight. Additionally, my background as an accountant provides me with a comprehensive understanding of financial matters, ensuring sound judgment and strategic decision-making. 

I am currently working as a Senior Paralegal in one of the reputable Family Law Firms in New York. I play a pivotal role in supporting attorneys and clients in all aspects of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, guardianship, paternity, child support, family offense petitions, and more. As a Senior Paralegal for more than 2 years, I became knowledgeable in family law procedures. I have excellent organizational skills, and a strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

The following are my expertise: Case Management using CLIO and MyCase; Legal Research; Drafting of Legal Documents; Client Communications; Court Filings; Discovery; Trial Preparation; Billing and Timekeeping; and Administrative Support.

My work experience of more than two (2) years as a Legal Officer of the Maritime Industry Authority, a government agency in the Philippines, and my experience as a Business Operations Manager of a private company, developed my expertise in providing excellent legal and administrative services.

My communication and writing skills are admired by my colleagues, which made me the Focal Person for all complaints received through the communication channel called "8888 Presidential Complaint Center", a government hotline under the office of the President of the Philippines. I resolve issues or concerns expeditiously.

I can accurately prepare legal documents under pressure with an excellent outcome.

I am dedicated, reliable, and able to handle a high volume of assignments. I am also known for my positive attitude and flexibility at work. I am always willing to accept and perform different kinds of work tasks without compromising the quality of my work.

Aside from knowing how to do my job, I always do my best to solve problems encountered by my employer or clients by contributing innovative ideas and suggestions that may help. I always take responsibility for my actions by not letting my other colleagues down.
