JOB OVERVIEW

We are a thrift shop in North Carolina, USA with a mission: to employ and train individuals with special needs and disabilities. We're seeking a talented and experienced freelance web designer/developer to help us revamp our online presence and better connect with our community.

About Us: We're a unique thrift shop that provides valuable employment and training opportunities for people with special needs and disabilities. We're passionate about our mission and want our website to reflect that.

The Project: We have an existing website that needs a complete rebrand. We are using WordPress and Divi theme, integrating a WooCommerce online shop that synchronizes with Square Point of Sale. This will be a project-based engagement, starting with a single page refresh. We envision a long-term partnership with the right person to handle ongoing website needs.

Your Role: We need a WordPress and Elementor expert who can not only execute our vision but also proactively suggest improvements and best practices. You'll be our go-to person for all things web-related.

Our Goals: We want our website to:
- Attract our audience.
- Clearly tell our story and highlight our impact.
- Drive support and encourage action in four key ways: Donate, Volunteer, Hire, and Buy.

Required Skills:
- Proven experience in web design and development.
- Expert-level proficiency in WordPress and Divi theme, integrating a WooCommerce online shop that synchronizes with Square Point of Sale.
- A strong understanding of design principles and aesthetics. We're looking for someone who can create a visually appealing and engaging website.
- Experience with WordPress, WooCommerce, and the Divi theme.
- Can start immediately.

PLUS Points:
- SEO background and expertise.
