# Web Infrastructure & Cloud Operations Specialist (Contract-to-Hire)

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Web Infrastructure & Cloud Operations Specialist to help manage and improve a large portfolio of websites.

This is a full-time contract-to-hire role with a 60–90 day evaluation period and the opportunity for a long-term position.

We are currently migrating websites from WordPress to static sites while improving infrastructure, backups, monitoring, documentation, and operational standards. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of infrastructure-related tasks, improve systems, document processes, and help build a scalable operation.

**This role is best suited for someone who enjoys building systems, creating documentation, solving problems proactively, and improving operational efficiency.**

## Core Responsibilities

* Manage Cloudflare configuration and maintenance
* Manage DNS, SSL, and domain-related tasks
* Execute website migrations, including WordPress-to-static-site migrations
* Perform migration QA and validation testing
* Validate backups and perform restore testing
* Set up and maintain monitoring systems
* Support WordPress hosting and infrastructure
* Assist with AWS-related tasks
* Troubleshoot website, hosting, DNS, SSL, and Cloudflare issues
* Create and maintain SOPs and technical documentation
* Help standardize infrastructure and reduce technical debt
* Use AI tools to improve troubleshooting, documentation, research, and operational efficiency

## Required Skills

* Cloudflare, DNS, and SSL experience
* WordPress hosting and migration experience
* Linux/server administration fundamentals
* Backup and restore testing experience
* Basic AWS knowledge
* Strong troubleshooting ability
* Strong documentation and SOP creation skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Strong written communication skills
* Practical experience using ChatGPT, Claude, or similar AI tools

## Work Schedule
