Virtual Medical Scribe

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Virtual Medical Scribe to join our dermatology clinic. This is a live scribe role, requiring real-time audio transcription during patient visits. Dermatology experience is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities
Perform live audio scribing during patient visits, accurately documenting medical histories, physical exams, treatment plans, and procedures.
Prepare and maintain detailed patient notes for physician review.
Manage clinic logs and ensure patient documentation is up to date.
Assist with scheduling patient follow-ups and coordinating appointments as needed.
Support administrative tasks such as uploading notes, organizing records, and handling correspondence.
Collaborate with the dermatology team to ensure smooth clinic operations.
Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality at all times.

Requirements
Proven experience as a medical scribe (dermatology experience preferred but not required).
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, especially in dermatology.
Fast and accurate typing skills (60-80 WPM) with strong listening and organizational abilities.
Availability to work 32 hours per week during Pacific Time hours.
Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems (dermatology-specific software experience is a plus).
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Technical Requirements
Laptop/Desktop with 8GB RAM, Core i5 or above.
USB headset with noise cancellation.
Working webcam.
Internet speed: At least 75 Mbps wired connection.
