Video Editor for YouTube Financial Planning Channel

I'm a solo business owner and work in professional services. I run a financial planning YouTube channel and I'm looking for a part-time video editor to help with my long-form videos.

Right now I need help editing 2 videos per week, approximately 3 hours per video.

What you'll be doing:
• Edit long-form YouTube videos (typically 5-15 minutes) using Descript
• Add cuts, transitions, text overlays, and clean up audio
• Follow brand guidelines I provide for visual style and formatting
• My current edits vs others in my industry are pretty simple and straightforward

What I'm looking for:
• Experience editing YouTube talking-head or educational content
• Comfortable working in Descript
• Reliable communication and consistent turnaround (24-48 hours per video)
• Open to feedback and willing to learn my style

This is remote, asynchronous work. I'm looking for a long-term working relationship with one person, not a rotating team. You need a reliable computer, stable internet, and the ability to communicate clearly in writing.

This is a part-time role starting at 6 hours per week. If things go well, there's room to grow into additional responsibilities including short-form content and other projects.
