Video Editor (Real Estate, Final Cut Pro)

Lighthouse Visuals is hiring a senior video editor for real estate content. Remote, full-time, long-term.

About us
We're a high-volume real estate video production company. Our editors deliver 30+ videos a day across the team for top-tier US agents. We're expanding because demand keeps outpacing capacity.

What you'll do
You'll turn raw footage into the kind of edits clients ask for again and again. Format flexes by client need (vertical reels, horizontal cinematic cuts, teasers, walkthroughs, social shorts), but the bar stays the same. Every edit should feel intentional, well paced, and built to perform.

A typical edit includes:
- Organizing raw clips into clean folders (drones, wides, details, talking heads)
- Selecting music (Spotify, SoundCloud, remixes, trending audio) and timing cuts to it
- Building flow with speed ramps, optical flow, boomerangs, and Ryan Nangle transitions
- Color grading with LUTs and custom color wheels, masking for underexposed subjects
- Audio work: voice EQ through Adobe Podcasts, balancing dialog against music
- Motion blur where movement happens, not everywhere
- Tracking and lock-on stabilization for moving subjects

The style we hire for
We make engaging, fast-paced edits, but we're not the team that throws every effect on every clip.

Hard requirements
- 3+ years professional video editing experience
- At least 1 year editing short-form social content (reels, TikTok, vertical)
- Final Cut Pro proficiency, or willingness to switch immediately from Premiere or DaVinci
- Mac with M-series chip, 16GB RAM minimum (24GB+ strongly preferred)
- Strong English, written and spoken
- Reliable high-speed internet (50 to 200GB project downloads)
- Portfolio with real estate, lifestyle, or fast-paced social work. Please don't apply with only wedding or long-form work
