# Full-Stack Web Developer (Long-Term, Remote, US Company)
## Description:
We’re looking for a highly skilled full-stack developer to join our growing engineering team.
Our company has been in business for 15+ years, operating several established brands in legal services, insurance, and digital marketing. This is a long-term, full-time role with a stable, U.S.-based company that values its employees and invests in their professional growth.
You’ll be joining a friendly, remote-first team (including developers in the Philippines) that builds modern, high-performance web applications using Next.js, Node.js, TypeScript, Supabase (PostgreSQL), and Docker.
## Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain full-stack web applications and APIs
- Work with Next.js (app router), Node.js, and TypeScript
- Create and integrate RESTful APIs using Supabase or PostgreSQL
- Contribute to production deployments on Vercel, DigitalOcean, or similar
- Collaborate with other developers via GitHub for version control and code reviews
- Participate in regular meetings and agile development cycles
Required Skills
- 4+ years of professional experience with React and Node.js
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience with Next.js (app & pages router)
- Solid understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript
- 3 years of experience with SQL databases (Supabase or PostgreSQL preferred)
- Familiarity with Docker, GitHub/GitLab, and RESTful API development
- Excellent written and spoken English communication
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science **OR** _verifiable equivalent experience_
## Nice to Have
- Experience with testing tools (Jest, Vitest, etc.)
- Experience deploying serverless apps on DigitalOcean, Cloudflare, Vercel, etc.
- CI/CD Pipeline experience
- DevOps experience (including security)
## Requirements
- Reliable laptop or desktop computer
- Stable, high-speed internet connection
- Preference for candidates with backup internet connection (pocket WiFi)
- Quiet workspace suitable for remote work (for meetings)
- Must use the company-provided VPN during work hours
## Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Eastern Time (US)
- One-hour lunch break (optional)
- 30/60/90-day probationary period prior to regular employment
## What to Expect During Your First 90 Days
0 – 30 Days – Orientation & Training
You’ll be introduced to our company’s processes, development stack, and existing projects. You’ll work closely with the CTO and senior developers to understand our systems, workflows, and expectations.
31 – 60 Days – Guided Project Work
You’ll begin contributing to live projects with increasing independence. You’ll learn how we deploy and maintain applications using Cloudflare, DigitalOcean, and Supabase, while continuing to receive mentorship and feedback.
61 – 90 Days – Integration & Ownership
By this stage, you’ll take full ownership of individual components or projects, collaborate regularly with the broader team, and demonstrate consistency, communication, and reliability.
After 90 Days – Regular Employment
Upon successful completion of the probationary period, you’ll be offered a permanent role with full employee benefits and continued opportunities for growth within the company.
