JOB OVERVIEW

Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Recruiter to join our team, specializing in the Power, Energy, and Utilities sectors. This individual will play a crucial role in sourcing, attracting, and hiring top-tier talent for our growing organization. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the technical requirements and industry trends within these sectors, as well as a proven track record in technical recruitment.

Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition
• Source and identify qualified candidates for technical positions in the Power, Energy, and Utilities sectors through various channels such as job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential candidates for current and future hiring needs.
• Conduct thorough screening and interviews to assess candidates' technical skills, qualifications, and cultural fit.
2. Client and Stakeholder Management
• Collaborate with hiring managers and department heads to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
• Provide regular updates and reports on recruitment activities, pipeline status, and candidate progress to key stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to ensure a smooth recruitment process.
3. Recruitment Process Optimization
• Develop and implement best practices for recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate assessments, and interview techniques.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience by providing timely communication, feedback, and support throughout the recruitment process.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, labor market conditions, and competitive intelligence to inform recruitment strategies.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in technical recruitment, preferably within the Power, Energy, or Utilities sectors.
• Strong understanding of technical roles and requirements within these industries, including engineering, project management, and IT.
• Proven ability to source and engage passive candidates through various channels.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.

Desired Skills
• Certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SPHR) or Recruitment (e.g., AIRS, CIR) is a plus.
• Experience with recruitment marketing and employer branding initiatives.
• Knowledge of labor laws and regulations related to recruitment and hiring.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
