Role Overview
We are seeking a Technical Product Manager to support a large-scale Shopify retail operation spanning hundreds of storefronts. This role sits at the intersection of operations, quality assurance, engineering, and e-commerce.
You will own the identification, prioritization, and resolution of storefront issues while acting as the primary liaison between local QA and site operations teams and a US-based technical team. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with hands-on knowledge of Shopify, e-commerce systems, and web technologies.

This is an opportunity to work directly with experienced US-based operators and technical teams while developing deep expertise in Shopify, e-commerce operations, and large-scale storefront management.

Responsibilities
• Own the intake, triage, prioritization, and resolution tracking of storefront and platform issues.
• Investigate i ---------- impacting storefront functionality, product availability, pricing, checkout flows, integrations, and customer experience.
• Analyze logs, error reports, support tickets, and monitoring alerts to determine root causes.
• Coordinate across QA, engineering, merchandising, operations, and client stakeholders to drive issues to resolution.
• Create clear bug reports, acceptance criteria, and engineering requirements.
• Identify recurring operational issues and partner with engineering teams to develop long-term solutions.
• Manage issue backlogs and ensure high-priority customer-impacting issues are addressed quickly.
• Maintain operational dashboards, reporting, and KPIs related to storefront quality and i ---------- trends.
• Develop and improve operational processes, runbooks, and quality standards.
• Support new storefront launches, feature rollouts, and platform enhancements.
• Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives across the team.

Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Technical Program Management, E-commerce Operations, Technical Operations, or related roles.
• Experience working with Shopify, Shopify Plus, or other major e-commerce platforms.
• Strong understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, APIs, and browser debugging tools.
• Ability to investigate technical issues, analyze logs, and work effectively with engineering teams.
• Experience writing detailed bug reports, technical requirements, and process documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working with distributed offshore and onshore teams.
• Strong sense of ownership and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications
• Shopify administration or Shopify Plus experience.
• Experience with product catalog management, inventory systems, or order management systems.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Linear, Datadog, New Relic, Sentry, Splunk, or similar platforms.
• Experience supporting large-scale retail or e-commerce operations.
• SQL or basic data analysis experience.

In this role, you will become a trusted operational owner for storefront quality and issue resolution across a complex Shopify ecosystem. You will help improve systems, processes, and customer experience at scale while partnering closely with technical and business stakeholders.
