Technical Operations Specialist (Tracking, Integrations & Automation)
About Us
We operate multiple online businesses that rely heavily on accurate tracking, attribution, integrations, automation and data flows.
We are looking for a highly technical and detail-oriented Technical Operations Specialist who enjoys solving problems, debugging systems and ensuring that data moves correctly between platforms.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys figuring out why something is not working and takes pride in making systems reliable, scalable and well documented.

Primary Responsibility
Your primary responsibility is ensuring that tracking, attribution, integrations and automation workflows work correctly across all systems.
- If tracking breaks, we lose visibility.
- If postbacks fail, campaigns cannot be optimized.
- If integrations fail, leads and revenue data become unreliable.
You will be responsible for identifying issues, implementing solutions and making sure systems continue to operate correctly.

Tracking & Attribution
You will work extensively with:
* Meta Pixel
* Meta Conversions API (CAPI)
* Google Ads Conversion Tracking
* Google Tag Manager (GTM)
* UTM tracking
* gclid and fbclid troubleshooting
* Conversion validation
* Attribution debugging
Postbacks & Affiliate Tracking
A significant part of this role involves:
* Affiliate network integrations
* Postback setup and testing
* Conversion tracking validation
* Lead tracking validation
* Revenue tracking validation
* Troubleshooting missing conversions
* Investigating attribution discrepancies
Webhooks & API Integrations
You will regularly work with:
* Webhooks
* REST APIs
* JSON payloads
* Authentication methods
* CRM integrations
* Lead routing systems
* Event-based systems

Secondary Focus (20%)
Automation & Data Flows
You will:
* Build and maintain automation workflows
* Debug automation failures
* Troubleshoot data flow issues
* Validate event delivery
* Monitor implementation quality
Tools may include:
* n8n

* Zapier
Technical Operations
You will also assist with:
* Maintaining technical documentation
* Managing documentation platforms
* Testing implementations before launch
* Monitoring operational systems
* Reproducing and documenting bugs
* Supporting internal technical projects
* Keeping implementation documentation up to date
Customer Implementations
You will help onboard customers by:
* Configuring integrations
* Testing tracking implementations
* Validating event flows
* Verifying attribution setups
* Creating implementation documentation
Technical Troubleshooting
You should be comfortable investigating issues such as:
* Leads not arriving in a CRM
* Conversions missing in Meta or Google Ads
* Failed postbacks
* Webhooks not firing
* API requests being rejected
* Attribution mismatches
* Data missing from reports
* Automation workflows failing
* Incorrect data mappings
* Missing events or revenue data

A typical week may include:
* Debugging a Meta Conversions API implementation
* Testing affiliate network postbacks
* Investigating why conversions are not appearing in Google Ads
* Reviewing webhook payloads
* Validating CRM lead delivery
* Troubleshooting automation workflows
* Setting up tracking for a new customer
* Investigating attribution discrepancies
* Updating technical documentation
* Reproducing bugs and documenting findings
* Assisting with internal technical systems

Requirements
Must Have
* Strong understanding of Meta Pixel
* Strong understanding of Meta Conversions API
* Strong understanding of Google Ads tracking
* Strong understanding of Google Tag Manager
* Strong understanding of affiliate tracking and postbacks
* Strong understanding of webhooks
* Experience with API integrations
* Experience with JSON payloads
* Experience with n8n,
* Strong troubleshooting mindset
* Excellent written and spoken English
Nice To Have
* CRM experience (HubSpot, Pipedrive, GoHighLevel or similar)
* Postman experience
* Basic SQL knowledge
* Experience troubleshooting data pipelines
* Experience troubleshooting scraping systems
* Basic frontend knowledge
* Basic GitHub experience
* Basic Next.js familiarity
* Familiarity with documentation platforms such as Fumadocs, Docusaurus or Nextra
* Experience maintaining technical documentation
* Basic understanding of deployment workflows

Compensation
* Full-time position
* $800/month during the initial 2-month probation period
* Increased to $1,000/month after successful completion of probation
