We are looking for a fast, creative, and self-directed social media video editor to join our team as a full-time, long-term contractor. This role moves quickly, the volume is high, and the work is the kind you can actually be proud to put your name on.
**What you will be doing:**
We operate a booth at live events, like State Fairs, where multiple people are filmed performing shoe cleaning and restoration. Your job is to take that raw daily footage and cut individual clips for each person, each with their own personality, styling, and presence. Every person who sits in that chair has a unique story and your edits need to reflect that.
At the same time, all content must align with our brand guidelines. You will be balancing individual personality with brand consistency across every piece you deliver, every day.
This is not a slow creative process. Footage comes in, it gets edited, it goes out. The expectation is a high volume of finished, ready-to-post clips on a daily turnaround. You will have the creative latitude to make great content but you will not have someone looking over your shoulder on every edit. You need to be able to own your work and deliver without constant direction.
**What we need from you technically:**
- You are fast and fluent in your editing software. Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, whatever your tool is, you know it well enough that the software is never the bottleneck.
- You understand how to cut for social media. Short form, vertical format, pacing, captions, audio sync. You know what performs and you edit with that in mind.
- You can work within a set of brand guidelines and apply them consistently across a high volume of content without needing to be reminded.
- Your portfolio shows variety. We want to see that you can make something feel personal to one individual and then shift tone completely for the next.
**Communication matters as much as the output:**
This role has minimal oversight by design, which means you need to be someone we can trust and talk to. If something is unclear, if footage is missing, or if you have a creative question, you need to be comfortable picking up a call or jumping into a live meeting and working through it directly. Strong verbal communication in English is required. We need to be able to have a real conversation with you.
**What this looks like for you:**
- Full-time contractor, 40 hours per week
- Remote
- High volume, fast-paced work with real creative ownership
- Stable, ongoing role with a growing pipeline of events and content
- 13th month bonus
**To apply:**
Send us your portfolio or reel. We want to see short-form social media content, ideally event or lifestyle work. Tell us what software you use, how you handle high-volume turnarounds, and what your editing process looks like when you are working fast. We interview for communication and fit as much as we do for skill.
