JOB OVERVIEW

Overview: The Social Media Content Strategist & Creator will lead the strategy and execution of social media efforts for a health care company, driving brand awareness, engagement, and growth across organic channels.
The ideal candidate is passionate, thinking long-term, highly creative, with a deep understanding of social media trends, and audience engagement. This role requires a strong ability to create social-first content while collaborating to ensure alignment with broader brand initiatives.
This position can be remote, hybrid, or onsite.

Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Strategy & Execution:
Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to grow brand awareness and engagement across platforms, including Instagram, and TikTok.
Align social media efforts with broader digital marketing and brand strategies to ensure cohesive messaging and consistent goals.
Manage and optimize organic social media campaigns.

Content Creation & Management:
Create engaging, platform-specific content (including images, videos, and short-form storytelling) using assets provided by the creative team, while also generating net-new social-first content tailored to each channel.
Own and manage the social media content calendar, ensuring consistent and timely posting aligned with marketing initiatives, product launches, and seasonal campaigns.
Collaborate with the creative team to develop content that reflects the brand voice and resonates with the target audience.

Community Engagement & Support Coordination:
Provide guidance to the Social Media Specialist on escalation protocols and community management workflows.
Ensure the team effectively monitors sentiment, trends, and opportunities for proactive engagement, delegating detailed reporting to the Social Media Specialist.

Performance Tracking & Analytics:
Direct the Social Media Specialist to track and analyze campaign performance metrics (e.g., engagement rates, follower growth, ROI) and compile regular performance reports.
Review performance data and provide insights to the Admin Team to inform strategy and optimize future efforts.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support:
Partner with Brand Managers, the HCP team, and the creative team to align social media campaigns with product launches, events, and brand initiatives.
Support the eCommerce and marketplace teams with paid and organic social campaigns to drive traffic and conversions.
Act as the central point of contact for ensuring social media aligns with the overarching digital marketing and brand strategy.

Trendspotting & Innovation:
Stay on top of emerging social media trends, tools, and best practices to keep the brand ahead of the curve.
Experiment with new content formats, platforms, and strategies to engage and grow the audience.
Qualifications:
4+ years of experience managing social media for consumer brands, with a strong focus on content creation and paid strategies.
Proven track record of growing social media accounts and driving measurable results.
Skilled in creating engaging, platform-specific content, including video and short-form storytelling.
Strong project management and leadership skills, with experience managing and mentoring team members.
Knowledge of the health, wellness, or feminine care industries is a plus.
