Senior WordPress / Shopify Developer (Elementor Pro Specialist)

We are a fast-growing Australian digital marketing agency building premium, high-converting websites for ambitious brands across Australia.

We are looking for a highly skilled Website Developer with strong experience in WordPress (Elementor Pro) and ideally Shopify to join our team long term.

This is not a basic “drag and drop” role.

You will be responsible for bringing professionally designed concepts to life and elevating them with clean execution, smooth interactions, and conversion-focused thinking.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Developing high-end WordPress websites using Elementor Pro
- Implementing designs provided by our designer with precision and attention to detail
- Enhancing designs with thoughtful UI improvements, animations, hover effects, transitions and micro-interactions
- Ensuring pixel-perfect responsiveness across desktop, tablet and mobile
- Optimising site speed and performance
- Occasionally building or editing Shopify themes (bonus skill)
- Testing thoroughly before handover

We want someone who:
- Has strong Elementor Pro experience (required)
- Understands WordPress structure, themes, plugins and performance
- Has experience with Shopify theme customisation (big bonus)
- Thinks critically about user experience and conversion
- Understands visual hierarchy (buttons should stand out, sections should flow, layouts should feel intentional)
- Pays extreme attention to responsive design across all breakpoints
- Writes clean CSS when needed
- Has a good eye for spacing, alignment and consistency
- Is proactive and does not require constant supervision

You must understand what you are building — not just replicate a design blindly. If something feels off, you fix it. If a button needs stronger contrast, you improve it. If movement or interaction would enhance the experience, you suggest it.
